Changing the way healthcare organizations secure their most critical assets
关于我们
Cybersecurity for healthcare is broken. Despite existing tools, the industry's complex IT infrastructure and the expanding attack surface, accelerated by remote care, leave critical gaps. The need for something radically more effective has never been greater. Tausight, founded by the former CTO and CEO of Imprivata, is developing an AI-driven, next-gen cybersecurity solution designed to transform healthcare security. With a focus on reducing the "blast radius" of breaches and ensuring continuity of care, Tausight’s approach is grounded in cutting-edge, proven strategies that contain attacks and accelerate recovery. Backed by top-tier investors, we’re working on a breakthrough technology that will reshape the way healthcare organizations secure their most critical assets. We’re still in stealth mode, but what we’re building is poised to change the game. Stay tuned.

"You can always rebuild a computer; you can't rebuild your data," said David Ting of Tausight. "You can't pull it back once it's stolen. That's what we need to think about if we're really caring about how we treat our patients." Excellent discussion on what it takes to protect patient data. David Ting shares his thoughts on the aggressive stance the Federal Trade Commission is taking on #healthcaredata not tied to #HIPAA provider data: The Federal Trade Commission is taking notice of all the consumer companies that are dealing with consumer #healthcare #data and not protecting them. This article reinforces the stance the #FederalTradeCommission (FTC) is taking which I think shows incredible concern for the privacy of the healthcare data from consumers. "The Commission is committed to using the full scope of its legal authorities to protect consumers’ privacy. We will vigorously enforce the law if we uncover illegal conduct that exploits Americans’ location, health, or other sensitive data. The FTC’s past enforcement actions provide a roadmap for firms seeking to comply with the law." The fact the FTC has brought hundreds of cases to protect the #privacy of of consumer's #personalinformation should be a reminder to all organizations, provider's included, the responsibility they bear protecting their customers or patients. https://lnkd.in/gB4Mx-bN

"Healthcare has the longest dwell time of any other vertical, which means the attacker often is inside doing reconnaissance" on where the data exist, said David Ting, CTO and Founder of Tausight, during a discussion on ePHI. "We need to be better at tracking that so that we can reduce that surface area." Great discussion, which also featured Larry Ponemon of Ponemon Institute. https://lnkd.in/eMNvvH8q #datasecurity #cybersecurity #protectedhealthinformation #ephi #infosecurity #cybereducation
