Thank you, The Stillery, Veterans Community Project, Tuatara Consulting, Inc., 3Up Metal Works, friends, advocates of the #military #community for coming out in force to support the event. With your help, Veterans Community Project will close the funding gap required to break ground and build their Milwaukee community to help homeless vets get the shelter they need, mental and social services uplift, and other services they need to get "uplifted" and reintegrated! With it, we will raise the funds to get every tiny home connected!

My battle buddy Anthony M., American Veterans Mission, and members of the Kohl's Cares volunteer team are on-site at the Texas A&M University Killeen #veterans event today distributing tech from Taskforce Uplift’s #OperationTexas “Tech for Vets 24 Tour” to veterans in need. So cool seeing the impact of donated tech from Kohl's, Kohler Co., and Rockwell Automation IT come full circle! I often talk about supporing the military community through veteran nonprofits like Taskforce Uplift as “fighting from the rear” where struggling vets need some form of “uplift” to get back on track. Partnering with organizations like Black & Veatch and leaders such as MICHAEL ADAMS, Tuatara Consulting, Inc. has the opportunity to compliment transitioning veterans skills obtained while serving with technical upskilling through orgs like ServiceNow and Microsoft for deployment within veteran friendly orgs. Continued sense of purpose, new technical skills, and a smooth transition to great paying jobs…..”fighting from the front”, a proactive “uplift” that reduces or eliminates the need of support services from the “rear”. To all of my fellow brothers and sisters in arms, battle buddies, Ranger buddies.... Happy Veteran’s Day! My transition out of the #military was a rocky one and, for almost 20 years, I rarely brought up the fact that I served at all. As years went by, I lost a lot of friends to combat and others who chose to exit on their own accord way to soon. I knew their wives. I knew their children. Their sacrifice inspired me to reengage with the military community, get over the saltiness of transition, and create the emotional space required to become proud of my service. To invest the cycles to help struggling veterans lost in the darkness find the light while doing more to support transitioning vets so they don't become lost in the first place. I'm incredibly proud of the veteran ecosystem we have built with the Veterans and veteran advocates we have working at Tuatara Consulting, Inc. and the 1000's of military community supporters who have provided charitable service through Taskforce Uplift and the #Veteran Alliance to veterans in need. Veterans Day is not a day to me anymore. It's a way of life. -RLTW

A % of all proceeds today thru Vets Day on Monday will be raised to support Taskforce Uplifts initiative to equip all 40 Tiny Homes being built by Veterans Community Project here in Milwaukee with the tech required to get our #veterans in need connected and reintegrated! A reminder to join us Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at The Stillery in Richfield, as we laugh, socialize and raise money for Taskforce Uplift! All proceeds will help provide essential technology in 40 new homes being built for veterans. The Stillery is donating a percentage of all Friday to Monday sales (at both locations) to the project - if you can't make our gathering, be sure to visit over the weekend or on Veterans Day!

Each year the Milwaukee Business Journal post a list of top #veteran owned businesses leading up to Veterans Day. This year, Tuatara Consulting, Inc. made its first appearance on the list at #16. As I reflect, making the list is a nice tip of the cap, but what is really special is.....the 1000's of relationships built, military fellows/interns we've housed, veterans we've hired, veterans we've helped to get hired, and lives of veterans and their families that we've positively impacted through Tuatara and Taskforce Uplift. Supporting the veteran #community isn't something we do once a year. It's something we've woven into the hearts, minds, and souls of those who shoulder up with us to deliver world class business solutions to our clients, and those who selflessly give back each and every day to "uplift" veteran families in need. Salute to my fellow entrepreneur battle buddies like Jason Young 3Up Metal Works who like Tuatara, intentionally builds business, creates jobs, and gives back....#daily, to the #military community. Together, we build possibility.

Like all good things, Taskforce Uplifts "#OperationTexas Tech for Vets Tour 2024" came to an end after our last drop at the American GI Forum in Ft. Worth Texas. Working together, the IT and Veteran ERG Teams from Tuatara Consulting, Inc., Kohl's, Kohler Co. and Rockwell Automation teamed up to deliver 600 new and used devices, worth over $175,000 in economic value (BOOOOOOOOOM) to veterans in need via 3 amazing veteran support organizations; American GI Forum, American Veterans Mission, and PTSD Foundation Of America! Heroes on the front lines who have joined the Veteran Alliance and are committed to closing the #digitaldivide in the Texas #military #community. Further proof that corporations getting connected to veteran support orgs in need by veterans, for veterans, makes a dramatic difference with just a little bit of an......UPLIFT! Together, getting it done! #OperationTexas Tech for Vets Tour 2024 made stops by our fellow battle buddies at American GI Forum and American Veterans Mission in Austin capped off with Taskforce Uplifts first visit to PTSD Foundation Of America in Houston. Great to have longtime friends Bill Becker and Dannielle Pope stop in and show their support! So, how exactly is this tech being used to close the digital divide and what impact is it making in #veterans lives? PTSD Foundation of America- Christy Carbaugh and her team will ensure Combat vets that are homeless, convicts, on the brink of suicide will be given a laptop as they complete the final phase of their reintegration program at Camp Hope. I'd have more of my #battlebuddies that left us too soon following the journey if they would have had acess to orgs like this. American GI Forum (El Paso, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas)- Sergio Dickerson and his team are issuing the laptops to homeless #veterans being reintegrated into the community after they get their first paystub! American Veterans Mission- Anthony M. works closely with vets attending college at Texas A&M University to ensure they have the tech they need to complete their programs, graduate, lead the country into the #future.
