Yesterday we hosted 35 women at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Downtown Denver for the 3rd "Seat at the Table Breakfast Series" in partnership with Cooley LLP, KPMG, Vannin Chief of Staff and JPMorganChase. The topic was "Politics, Policy & You," and featured local and national leaders involved in getting out the vote and supporting women candidates up and down the ballot. It was a great reminder that politics isn't inherently partisan. We used to have civil discourse in this country. We weren't always afraid of opposing conversations about what we care about and value. I will continue to work to bring conversations like this to our community because the more we talk about it, the more we realize how much we actually have in common. Bottom line this election season, just vote. Register if you haven't. Know the facts and get your ballot in early. We can't create change in this country unless we all participate in it's future. Heather Lurie of Electing Women PAC, discussed the importance of supporting women candidates for governor and senate (did you know that there has never been more than one black woman in the senate at a time in our nation's history?). Amber McReynolds, Co-Author, When Women Vote and Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors for the United States Postal Office, discussed how we can all participate in creating a more robust and resilient democratic society by voting and helping to ensure voting remains safe, secure and available to all. Leslie Herod, Representative for Colorado House District 8, shared stories and concrete examples of the kind of change that is possible when more women are elected. #getoutthevote #voteearly #election2024

Last week I attended the 'Women Who Startup Revival' during Denver Startup Week. A highlight was connecting with these incredible women, each passionate about their work! One is a business owner, another is focused on bringing more women’s sports to Denver, and the third supports startups in scaling. It was inspiring to hear their stories and be part of such a fantastic event! Thanks to all of the partners who made this event possible!
