Organizations and individuals are eager to jump in and give generative AI a try, as they explore how to use AI tools to be more competitive, innovative, and efficient. Imagine a customer who logs into Lowes.com a few weeks before the 4th of July. They’re looking to see if the local store carries a particular brand of grass seed. But, instead of buying the seed from the website, they visit the store four days later. While shopping, they also buy hedge trimmers, heavy-duty garbage bags, and tools for pulling weeds. It’s obvious: This customer plans to improve their lawn, likely so that they can entertain guests on the holiday. **They’re also an excellent target for a variety of ads.** Enter Retail Media Networks (RNMs). Using this digital advertising platform, retailers like Lowes can allow other brands, such as landscape design firms, to reach the ideal customers at the ideal time.
