At Thursday's Burlington Town Center Beer Garden, we had many conversations with community members and heard their ideas and concerns for the Burlington High School Study. Proud of our Intern Noah Silva's excellent Solar Decathlon Decathlon Design Challenge project that won 3rd place! The excellent work and approach on this project is a reflection of his efforts at Tappé as well. Congratulations!
A team of #Architecture students took home third place at the 2024 Solar Decathlon Design Challenge. Organized by the U.S. Department of Energy, Solar Decathlon is an international competition. Students from 40 finalist teams this year represented 37 collegiate institutions and competed in one of four divisions: Single-Family Housing, Attached Housing, Multifamily Building, or Education Building. Wentworth Associate Professor Troy Peters led a team comprised of students Noah Silva, Milo Oliva, and Aidan Morris in the Single-Family Housing Division. The team, dubbed Nest Zero, looked at old fishing shanties in Plymouth, Mass. and how to repurpose them for use by an unhoused family (consisting of a fisherman, an artist, and their young daughter). In preparation for the addition & renovation of the Fitchburg Public Library, the existing Children's wing is being demolished. Historically significant architectural artifacts are being removed by conservators and will be reinstalled on the new & updated building.?Fitchburg Public Library

A topping off ceremony was held for the new Lynnfield Fire HQ today! The new building replaces the South Fire Station branch. The combined Town Hall & Public Safety building is also under construction PMA Consultants Commodore Builders

Today marks the last day of an unforgettable Future Library Design program, including a one-in-a-lifetime tour of the Boston Public Library. Walpole Middle School is nearing completion!
Demolition is well underway at our Walpole Middle School jobsite! The old building is down and our crews are now working on removing the foundations and trucking all of the materials off-site. It is hard to believe that the new school will be opening its doors to Walpole Public Schools students next month! #schoolconstruction
