Throughout Women’s History Month, we held a Feminine Hygiene Drive, then extended our efforts by collaborating with the Evangel Fellowship Church Women’s Department for a special event on May 3rd. Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we're proud to announce that we've collected countless period poverty items! These items will directly benefit women in need. We extend a heartfelt thank you to Evangel Fellowship Church and Dr. Faith Lockett-Gardner. Period poverty is defined as the inadequate access to menstrual hygiene tools and education. This includes access to washing facilities, waste management, and more. Students, people experiencing homelessness, and people with disabilities are at a higher risk of dealing with period poverty. If you would still like to donate, you can do so by bringing your products to a Triad Adult And Pediatric Medicine location, emailing [email protected], or contacting (336) 355-9696 ext. 9734. Together, we can make a difference! #PeriodPoverty #Greensboro
