    “Won’t an app just shift sales from one channel to another?” Fair question—but here’s the reality: moving customers to an app makes them more valuable. As Sandy Mosqueda from The Hundreds explains, customers who shop in the app convert at a higher rate, spend more per order, and retain longer than those who shop on the website or social channels. So yes, some customers will move to the app—and that's a good thing. They’ll buy more, buy more often, and develop a stronger connection to the brand.     Where oh where to begin, London ???? The past week has been a glorious reminder of how special it is to be a small part of this Shopify ecosystem. Having the chance to connect with so many of our UK Tapcart partners & customers in person after only working together virtually was pure catharsis. To the Yotpo & Domaine teams - cheers for separately pulling off two of the most thoughtfully executed ecommerce events I've had the pleasure of attending. The community you both brought together and attention to detail made for a memorable week. Eli, Evgeniya, Talia, Beth, Kallie, Jon - Your team is constantly raising the bar by providing spaces for retention / lifecycle marketers to learn from one another. And damn if they aren't fun spaces. Domaine team, Chelsey, Karolina, Marko & Mac - what y'all are building is undeniable and we're proud to be partnering with you this year. Thanks for having us!
