  • At Tangible Development, our commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion has always been at the heart of our work. However, in response to the shifting business and political landscape—including the impact of executive orders and mandates on business sustainability—we have had to make the incredibly difficult decision to reduce our workforce. This was not a decision we made lightly, as we deeply value every team member and their meaningful contributions. As we navigate this transition, we remain dedicated to treating our team with care, respect, and support. Our people are the heart of Tangible Development, and we are providing a six-week notice, severance, and executive coaching to help those affected as they take their next steps. While this change is significant, our mission remains unwavering. We are committed to ensuring continuity for our clients and continuing to guide organizations in building more inclusive workplaces and communities. We are profoundly grateful for our clients' trust, our team's dedication, and our community's ongoing support. Together, we will continue moving forward.

BLACK HISTORY IS ABOUT STRATEGY ??????... and Marlia Fontaine-Weisse, MA, CDP? is one of the smartest strategist I know. Marlia Fontaine-Weisse is vice president of service delivery for Tangible Development and is tasked to build the strategy around businesses creating a skilled, productive and diverse workforce. As we ALL grapple with the attack on DEI...Marlia reminds me that, DEI should not be a stand alone and that's where organizations can get into trouble. She firmly believes that DEI should be woven throughout the organization and THIS woman and her team, have the data proven strategies to implement it responsibly. Data confirms that diversity in organizations is better than organizations that are not diverse. Learn about Marlia here: https://lnkd.in/gdYcJNRV Together we rise ??????????????????????

  • During the Persistence in DEI: Sharing Space & Solidarity event, we asked attendees representing 40+ organizations to share their thoughts about this moment in DEI through a survey—and the responses were powerful.? The data showed us that many organizational DEI leaders are feeling sadness and uncertainty about the federal directives regarding DEI work. They are unsure about how to move DEI goals forward and what type of pivots need to happen to continue the work while protecting their organizations. And yet–during our discussions, we heard over and over again a desire to persist and a determination to continue the fight for equity and inclusivity. At Tangible Development, we too feel confusion and uncertainty about the right way to move forward. But one thing we know is true: we will persist. We will not give up. This collective commitment reminds us that while the challenges are real, so is the dedication to building more inclusive workplaces. Let’s keep pushing forward—together. ???? #DEI #Solidarity #Persistence #EquityInAction #InclusiveWorkplaces

  • This Black History Month, we honor the Black leaders, activists, and visionaries who paved the way for change. Their resilience in the face of injustice was not just courage—it was a commitment to a future they believed in.? Their work challenges us to keep moving forward, to remain steadfast in the fight for equity, and to create spaces where inclusion is more than a word. Let their resilience inspire ours. #BlackHistoryMonth #Resilience #HonoringBlackLeaders
