Our USA Center is proud to present our findings from a survey on firefighter occupational medical screening at the 2025 International Fire Service Cancer Symposium. Hosted by the Firefighter Cancer Initiative at the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, the event will be held on February 20-21, 2025, in Miami, Florida. Celebrating 10 years since its founding, the FCI’s symposium brings together fire service members, academia, government and fire industry partners dedicated to addressing the critical issue of cancer in the fire service workforce. Hosted by leading experts in occupational health and cancer research, this symposium provides an interdisciplinary platform for sharing the latest findings, innovative strategies, and evidence-based practices for cancer prevention, early detection, and survivorship within the fire service community.
