This is another example of the benefits of the #strategic_partnership between the Texas A&M University System and Los Alamos National Laboratory! Thanks to the Texas A&M University College of Engineering and Meloy Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program at Texas A&M University for supporting this effort!
Last weekend, we hosted our Aggies Invent with Los Alamos National Laboratory, bringing together 48 students for an intense 48-hour innovation challenge focused on Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and their role in the future of energy. Participants engineered and presented solutions tackling key issues such as safety, security, disaster recovery, cascading failures, and radiation monitoring in SMR technology. ? Aggies Invent gives students the opportunity to work together in creating an innovative and creative solution to real-world problems. Every event is centered around a distinct theme and is designed through collaborative efforts with industry partners and faculty members. Join #TAMUmeloy at fostering an environment of entrepreneurial spirit to help change the future!?
