The The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine recently published the proceedings (in brief) of their workshop on the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals from April 2024. Stacy Pritt, DVM, MS, MBA, CPIA, CHRC, ECoP(EAR), DACAW, Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Research Compliance Officer, was a speaker during that workshop and is quoted throughout the report.

It's a wrap! NCURA Region V's meeting was a great success. Kathryn Cavanaugh, Associate Director, System Research Compliance Training & Development, spoke on international research collaborations involving animals. Congratulations to Sheleza Mohamed, FACHE, CRA?, CPRA?, CFRA?, NCURA Region V Chair, and the planning committee for doing such a great job! It was also great to see all of the attendees across the Texas A&M University System at our networking event.
