This week’s Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences’s BIMS 289 Guest Speaker Series featured Dr. Lisa Kuhn, Associate Department Chair for The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s Department of Physician Assistant. Dr. Kuhn shared her professional background and experience with students seeking careers in the medical field.

Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences students once again invited a new healthcare professional to their weekly BIMS 289 Guest Speaker Series. They recently welcomed Miguel Mata, Family Nurse Practitioner from the South Texas Vascular Institute. Mr. Mata helped students understand different types of nursing occupations, what a typical day may look like for him and what to expect along the journey of becoming a nurse. The series is open all majors and occurs every Thursday at 4pm in HECM Room 107. #tamumcallen #tamu #aggies
