Andrea Porter is doing some great research on body armor for women. Even though we #BTHOLSU, the Louisiana State Police are super supportive of Andrea and her research in the center. Thanks, y'all!

Through decades, across industries, and even into make-believe worlds, the Center is helping workers and their loved ones every day, even Halloween! Mark Benden aka Incredible, Jeong Ho (Jay) Kim and Martha Parker (in the shirts), Anabel Rodriguez (Rosie the Riveter), Eva Shipp (Nascar driver), Andrea Porter (Ravenclaw wizard), Sara Landreneau (yep, she's a cat), Seobin Choi (Wednesday), and Candice Brinkmeyer-Langford (from the 60s)

Lots of congratulations to CWH directors Anabel Rodriguez and David Douphrate for securing funding from the U.S. Department of Human and Health Services to support a project titled, “Assessment of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) among dairy farm workers.” Clearly, saving lives every day!
