A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful community partners that made today possible, especially the Tampa Downtown Partnership, and Karen Kress, for their stellar efforts in organizing today’s ride. ?? Kudos to the City of Tampa, the Tampa Police Department, and Mayor Jane Castor for leading the ride from Water Works Park into Downtown Tampa. ??♂??? A special shout-out to Councilwoman Lynn Hurtak for her unwavering dedication to cycling safety and championing alternative transportation initiatives! ????? Alternative transportation, like cycling, is pivotal in shaping vibrant, livable cities. It addresses challenges such as congestion and limited parking, fostering healthier lifestyles ???? and enhancing community well-being. While we want everyone to have a lucky day, Saturday won’t be so lucky without knowing vital parking and transit information: ????Pedal to River O’ Green with FREE, secure bike parking. Avoid the parking hassle! Bike to Curtis Hixon Park this weekend and take advantage of our BIKE VALET to keep your bike safe while you enjoy the festivities ????There will be several road & waterway closures: -Ashley Drive: Closes at 11:00am -Gasparilla Plaza: Changes direction at 11:00am, but does not close until 2:00pm -Cass Street at Ashley Drive: Closes at 2:00pm -Road closures are expected to be lifted between 7:30pm and 8:00pm -The waterway between Cass Street and Kennedy Boulevard will be closed at 10:30am and will reopen at 11:30am ????Where to park: -Free On-Site Bike Valet, provided by the Tampa Downtown Partnership -Fort Brooke Garage: 107 N Franklin St, Tampa, FL 33602 -Park in Ybor City & Take the TECO Streetcar to Whiting Station -Twiggs Garage: 901 E Twiggs St, Tampa, FL 33602

A few things to note before tomorrow's ride: ?Our friends from Tampa Police Department bike patrol will escort the ride. Then will be in the park to help cyclists get their bike registered in case it is ever stolen. ?Several exhibitors will be in Lykes Gaslight Park for the rally - grab some light snacks, coffee, an event t-shirt, helmet, safety tips, and more. ?No bike?
