Last night we had David Parry stop at the Tampa Java User Group for his last stop as part of the FL JUG tour. He gave a very engaging presentation on a couple of different coding AI tools and being a developer advocate from Qodo (formerly Codium) demonstrated what his company is doing on the coding and Agentic side. One key point he kept driving was to always be in the driver seat of any tool to have full control. Congrats to ?? Joey de Villa winning this month's ArcOfAI Conference conference. The conference will be taking place March 31 - Apr 3 in Austin, TX organized by Venkat Subramaniam. There is one more opportunity in March to win so stay tuned and come out for our next Meetup. David will be at Arc of AI and also at Devnexus so if you're interested in hearing him talk again and others like him that conference will be happening March 4 - 6 in Atlanta. Use code 'DN25JUGS' to get 40% off! I would also like to thank everybody who took time out of their Thursday evening to come out and also to our sponsors. Thanks to our additional raffle sponsors: O'Reilly and JetBrains Also thanks to Lynn Kroesen, CEcD and her team of Cassidy Roberts, MBA and David Garza-Manahan from the ECC of Hillsborough County for hosting us. Special shoutout to Nelson Yee for helping me setup and clean up and thanks to my co-organizers: Sam Kasimalla and Shaun C. As always if you're looking for an opportunity to speak, host, sponsor, or any other Q&A feel free to reach out.

Thank you Rich! We enjoyed having you speak last night!
Had a great time discussing data engineering lat night! Many asked for my slides so attaching them here. This is a summarization of my knowledge and experience over the last decade of working with data to solve real problems. It's focused more on how to think instead of what to do.
