Basin Wide Trails Analysis (BWTA) Final EA dropped today! ?? It has been a year since the public submitted comments on the 2023 BWTA Draft EA and, after hundreds of USFS hours in reviewing 660 separate public comment letters, the next iteration of project document has arrived incorporating enhancements,updates, and clarifications to the Draft EA. While we are thrilled with this monumental milestone, there are still a few more steps before the actions in this document are implemented on our trails in the Lake Tahoe Basin. So… what’s next ? ?? The TAMBA team has kicked into action, diving into the document to understand the implications of this latest iteration. Give us a bit of time, it is 224 pages long (to be quite specific??), but nothing excites us more than nerding out on trails and trail maps at that! We aim to bring our valued members and partners distilled information over the next month, so hold tight while we pour over our copies. We will be back to you soon. What Can I Do? What a wonderful congregation on Non-Profits, Government Agencies, and elected official gathered to rally around the future of conservation of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding lands.

Insightful reflection on the bike industry. TAMBA is lucky to have strong women in leadership roles across our board and full time team, but the bike industry as a whole needs to step up in creating an inclusive environment for all people in order to be truly sustainable.
