At last week’s TALQ face to face meeting at Signify’s HQ in Eindhoven, the consortium recognised the hard work and dedication of two of our longest serving staff members. For over ten years, Jose Sanchis (Pepe) and Eva Jubitz have very ably supported the consortium’s work in managing the technical aspects of the standard and test tool and the marketing activities, respectively. Without Pepa and Eva’s contributions, it is hard to imagine that we could have achieved the success that we have in establishing TALQ as THE Smart City Standard. An important part of last week’s face-to-face meeting in Eindhoven was discussing the technical details of unifying our #streetlighting data with the standards of DALI Alliance and Zhaga Consortium. We host annual Plugfest events to strengthen the certification process and foster deep technical knowledge exchange among our members. Congratulations to our member CAPELON AB for certifying their GreenStreet TALQ Gateway! Liang Liem comments on this achievement as follows: "Capelon is excited to provide an interoperable interface to our luminary controllers, cabinet controllers, and various sensors. This will enable cities all over the world using TALQ-certified CMSs to build a non-cellular 5G mesh streetlight infrastructure based on the game-changing global DECT NR+ radio standard.
