We recently marked a major milestone at the Central Generator Plant on the UNC Chapel Hill campus—with a Generator Arrival Party hosted by Gregory Poole Equipment Company to celebrate the installation of four new 3MW generators. T. A. Loving Company, in a joint venture with Blum Construction, is working alongside EwingCole and Dewberry to expand capacity and strengthen emergency power for UNC Hospitals. This phase adds four generators, along with new transfer switches, an E-House, and electrical duct banks. Our team is also upgrading mechanical and fuel systems and replacing 375 feet of waterline—carefully phasing work to maintain seamless operations.
