Creating ephemeral spaces from whole-cloth in order to tell stories.

关于我们

Talon Audio Visual offers Technical Production, Live Streaming, Accessibility, and Event Localization consulting services to a wide range of clients including event agencies, event technology vendors, and event planners to support in person, hybrid, and virtual events across industries, including technology companies, major retailers, and education. Talon is here to be a partner, not a competitor, helping agencies, event planners, and event technology vendors find best-fit solutions to make digital events successful and accessible. Talon's mission for events, both physical and virtual, is to create ephemeral spaces from whole-cloth in order to tell stories. Whether those stories are about your product launch, your earnings report, your core organizational mission, or your latest campaign, we want to help you share that with your audience, no matter the size. Events are magical, and at their best bring each other together to experience, if only for a moment, truly hearing each other. We believe at the core, we are in the storytelling business, and I want to help you create the perfect environment for your story. Everything we do in events exists only for a moment - the ephemerality of events is a core aspect of the “live” nature of events, and for me there is power in asking our audiences to live in the now at our events. But as the lines between the physical and the virtual blur, we can bend, freeze, and rewind time, stretching the moments we create in infinite ways, like magic. Let us help you make that magic for your audience as you tell your story.

  • Your Network is Your Event's Net Worth Talon Audio Visual, Inc. recently provided cellular bonded network and WiFi for a national managers conference. The client has strict data security rules, including a prohibition of any corporate device connecting to a hotel wifi network. So they asked us to build them a network that didn't touch the hotel internet connection, but still gave them fast WiFi throughout their event. With a Peplink network backbone, 9 Cell Modems, and some temporary cables running down the hall, we gave them a private network powered by #5G with device isolation, and plenty of bandwidth for both attendees and production needs. • Networks, Streams, Signage, and More. That’s what Talon AV provided to the National Nurses United Conference 2024, held this year in New Orleans, Louisiana. Did you know that about half of Talon’s work is managing specialty scopes for our AV and Agency partners? As a strategic outsourcing partner, we take on complex technical scopes for our partners and their clients, allowing them to focus on their core areas of expertise while delivering complex and flawless shows to their clients. Earlier this year our partners Metro Media Productions came to us with just that sort of ask - interface with the in-house network team, the client’s IT department, and the multiple production vendors on the project to ensure the packets were flowing. Also can you provide a digital signage solution that showcases user generated content along with the daily agenda? And oh by the way, we need a cellular backup network for the VIP board meeting’s Zoom Call. We got you Metro! Coordinating with Encore Global, the in-house AV and Network vendor at the property, we optimized the network order for the multiple network needs that the show had - from registration, to production, to attendee WiFi. We provided a Peplink bonded cellular solution for the board meeting, as well as network infrastructure building-wide including Netgear AV managed switching to distribute multiple vLans from the house network to the various production needs. On the signage front we provided Brightsign players, on a mix of wired and wireless connections, to display daily agendas above live-updated social media content, and provided networking support to the AV, Lighting, and Video teams from Metro, 4Wall, and Proxy AV. We provided Epiphan Pearl encoding to deploy overflow, green room, and client office feeds over IP, along with Zoom feeds for staff on and offsite to monitor sessions from their personal devices. You want that Zoom feed in 1080p? Don’t worry, it’s already enabled on all of our accounts! From IT support, to streaming, to signage, to accessibility - captions, interpretation, etc., we’ve got equipment, staff, and key vendor relationships to deliver key technical expertise and support and ensure that your events go swimmingly - whether we provide the whole AV package, or we support agencies and AV companies that just need a bit of help. #AV #EventProfs #LiveEvents #Streaming #EventIT

  • Not every event needs complicated AV. Sometimes all you need is a good producer to keep it simple. Don't get me wrong - I'd love to sell all my clients on lots of fancy gear and a huge crew - big shows are exciting, and as a business owner, they are profitable. I love the huge, expensive and exciting shows, and I do a lot of them. But the reality is that most clients can't spend a quarter or half a million dollars on AV on every show. And they don't need to. AV should be in service of delivering the event's message, not in spite of it. Often all you need is a couple of laptops, a couple of screens, and a couple of mics to make that work. When that's the case, I often come in as a Technical Producer to help my clients get the most out of a simpler technology stack. Talon Audio Visual, Inc. helps clients like this all the time - we can bring in the whole show, or just small pieces to supplement the in-house AV offering, and our Technical Producers then help the client manage the technology to deliver a super smooth show. It's cost-effective, adds value without too much fluff, and helps ensure the tech is a help and not a hindrance. -- Image Description: A tech table with four laptops and a small video switcher, along with some microphones and accessories. • Board Meetings don’t have to be boring! Talon Audio Visual, Inc. Recently provided turnkey audio visual and production support for the board meeting of one of our longest running clients. This event was hosted in the conference center of a state agency, in a new and gorgeous state building, but the room was designed for internal trainings, and lacked the capability for more complicated two-way meetings. We provided 16 push to talk, tabletop microphones, loudspeakers, and audio, and video equipment for a two-way conference call, including two-way screen sharing and full remote participation. Because the building is owned by the State of California, the IT network did not allow connections for outside devices, so we also provided a Peplink bonded cellular solution for Internet connectivity for the conference call. This was a great event and we are grateful that so many of our clients continue to work with us year after year.

    • A board meeting with a U-shaped table, with people sitting all around it, microphones sit on the table in front of every other person, several people have laptops in front of them, there is a built-in projector screen at the front of the room, and to the right of the picture, there is a tech table with pipe and rape in front of it, and the technician standing behind the Audio console. In the middle of the U shape there are some speakers clustered at the center of the room, and hanging from the ceiling above that is a permanently installed projector.
