The Rotary Club of Tallmadge proudly marks its 40th anniversary, celebrating four decades of dedicated service to the community. Since its founding on February 5, 1985, the club has been committed to the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self,” supporting numerous local and international projects that have positively impacted Tallmadge and beyond. As part of this milestone celebration, the Rotary Club is honored to recognize three charter members who have remained active throughout the club’s entire history: Patrick J. Wack, Jim West, and Don Weisel. Their unwavering dedication and leadership have been instrumental in the club’s success, inspiring generations of Rotarians to continue making a difference. “Our club has spent 40 years bringing people together to serve, and we are incredibly grateful for the dedication of members like Pat, Jim, and Don, who have been with the club since day one,” said Club President’s Gary “Judge” Brown II. “Their commitment to service exemplifies the true spirit of Rotary, and we are thrilled to celebrate their legacy alongside this important milestone for our club.” The Rotary Club of Tallmadge meets every Thursday at 7:15 AM at the Lions-Rotary Hall, located at 245 Northeast Ave., Tallmadge, OH 44278. New members and guests are always welcome to join and learn more about the club’s initiatives and service projects. As the club looks to the future, it remains dedicated to its mission of fostering community engagement, supporting local causes, and making a lasting impact through service. Our current Club President, Gary "Judge" Brown II from TCT Network partnered with Hope International in Big Creek, North Carolina this week. This area just outside of Asheville was hit hard with the recent hurricane. He took a moment of his day to address Rotarians all over the world. Listen in! Thank you Judge for embracing the #ServiceAboveSelf motto of Rotary International Rotary International District 6630
