Here's a breakdown of the two enforcement actions the CCC is issuing today ... "On April 6, 2021, after receiving COAs indicating that two test samples originating from the Webster Facility tested positive for the pesticide Imidacloprid, Respondent completed an internal report that identified several problems at the Webster Facility including [Curaleaf’s] failure to properly seal gaps and leaks in doorways, improperly sealed ducts, leaving doors open for hours during harvesting, and allowing contractors to prop exterior doors open for several hours at a time." https://lnkd.in/g7k4qrFZ

The background on this one may blow your mind ... So, Talking Joints Memo is doing a lot of reporting on not just Question 4 and well-known psychedelics, but also on the countless analogues and technically legal products out there in this realm. We've ordered several online. Last Thursday, one of our writers came to my house to pick up a package with some "Road Trip Mushroom Gummies." And while they're not supposed to have actual psilocybin, by the time that KC got back to her apartment in South Boston, she was tripping. Hard. So she started doing research - and it turns out that they sell the exact same products at deVINE Wellness in Southie, just a few blocks from her house! What are the chances?!? She then went to the store to ask some questions. And when she got there, the manager told her that the DEA had just been there hours earlier - to confiscate that exact product! For having psilocybin! As well as another one. Now imagine that you're tripping, and those coincidences - one involving federal law enforcement - happen to you? Mind-boggling stuff.
