This year's end gifted me a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with my colleagues from P&O Nedlloyd (Now A.P. Moller - Maersk), the first company where my career began in 2004. There's an undeniable magic in first experiences, but this reunion after 20 years, held a unique charm. I've often observed former colleagues reminiscing, sharing fond memories of their bonds while placing little emphasis on the companies that brought them together. However, our connections are rooted in the profound value our company instilled in us. It transcended the perks and travel; it was about something deeper. Culture is crafted by the synergy of people and the organization—a harmonious dance of influence. For many of us, P&O Nedlloyd was our launching pad. Our leadership team, onsite travel to London, those parties, and the entire ecosystem were remarkable. Instead of boastfully recounting our own achievements, we unanimously celebrate the extraordinary company that shaped us.
