Culture guides how we process information. Let that sit with you a bit. What do I mean? We all have cultural backgrounds with different upbringing. These upbringings allow you to view the world in your own way. Culture, it turns out, is the way that every brain makes sense of the world. That is why everyone, regardless of race or ethnicity, has a culture. The brain uses cultural information to turn everyday happenings into meaningful events. I invite you educators, parents, and learners to talk about it. If you don't yet know what to say then, read about it. Break the silence. Let's talk about it together.
