We are aiming for an international sample of at least 50 sanctioned athletes to gain diverse perspectives. From the start of the project until now, we were able to talk to athletes from a variety of nations. ?? Meet the TALE team. With 20 years of experience in anti-doping research, Prof. Andrea Petroczi joined the TALE project to give a voice to all athletes affected by doping - whether sanctioned, unfairly denied opportunities, or competing against returning athletes - to foster better awareness and support. Andrea is an internationally renowned anti-doping expert and, dating back to the turn of the millennium, is among the pioneers of social science and behavioural research in doping. #TALE #whataboutus #athletesvoice #cleansports

?? Meet the TALE team. PD Dr. Daniel Westmattelmann is an Assistant Professor of Management and Digitalization at the Universit?t Münster (Germany). His work on the effectiveness of the anti-doping system has been published in different international journals and he has received various grants (e.g., WADA, PCC). Alongside his academic career, he was active as a professional road cyclist for 12 years, competing in elite world championships and winning international races. #TALE #whataboutus #athletesvoice #cleansports

?? Meet the TALE team. Daniela Lux holds a master’s degree in sport science and works on the project as a PhD student at the Department of Sport Science at the Universit?t Innsbruck. ?? Meet the TALE team. Hannah Kuske, MA, MSc, is a clinical psychologist with a background in peace and conflict studies. She is specialised in emergency psychology with a focus on international humanitarian and military settings. Her areas of expertise include the design, coordination and management of projects. The Department of Sport Science, led by Prof. Martin Schnitzer is now our new coordinating partner, giving the TALE project a new home base and expanding our network even further.??
