?? Recharging your batteries is important every single day. We do not store energy, so we must make sure to recover daily, in order to be able to overcome the challenges and stressors we face.
Most of the time, recharging will be something simple like reading, exercising, meeting friends for a coffee or playing with our pet. ??????♀?????
But every now and again, we should push ourselves (or rather, treat ourselves) to a more wholesome experience. ??
?? That is what I did last night by joining Tajrabti for their Wednesday Experience 9.0
We spent four hours experiencing (and doing) art performance and exstatic dance.
??? Sounds long and a bit esoteric? It wasn't - we were a group of curious, open-minded and generous individuals, who by the end of the night had metamorphosed into a whole. We were all able to let go and really immerse ourselves, in what felt like a very safe, accepting and welcoming space. (And those who know me, know that I have my moments of being more of an observer than a doer, but hey, here I was on my own with a bunch of strangers (my friend had to cancel last minute) and really let my hair down, dancing exstatically on a Carthaginian rooftop, in the cold, under the stars. Whaaaaat?) ????
?? I was able to forget mum-duty, dishes and bedtime for the evening, and soak up the energy (and adult social connections). ??
?? So, in summary, I encourage you to leave your comfort zone every now and again (once a month or once a quarter) and be curious. Try a new way to recharge.
In Tunis, there are so many new well-being opportunities available that you are almost spoiled for choice.
Go ahead, treat yourself to close the year. You've deserved it. ??????
