We’re thrilled to recognize Kimaula Aitkens, TailorMed’s second U.S. team member, as she celebrates her five-year anniversary with us! ?? Kimaula’s journey at TailorMed began in a customer support role, and over the years she grew into her current position as the manager of our Customer Support team. As Kimaula reflected on her five-year journey, she shared her thoughts: "I've been with TailorMed for five years now, and there's a unique kind of love that grows when you’ve been part of something from its early days, helping shape its journey. I’ve witnessed growth and resilience, both in the company and in myself, as we tackle challenges and make impactful changes. Starting in a support role and moving up to a team leader and then a manager, I've been pushed to think creatively, question the "why," and reimagine what’s possible. Like a child always curious, I keep discovering new reasons to love what I do. Five years might feel like a lifetime in startup years, almost like being a dinosaur, but it’s also a testament to a product and mission that’s still worth every effort, every mountain moved, for our patients." We are incredibly grateful for the leadership, friendship, and expertise Kimaula brings to our team, and we look forward to many more milestones together.

Caregivers of veterans spend > 1.5x more on out-of-pocket costs than other caregivers. On #VeteransDay, let’s honor our servicemen & women AND those who care for them by helping them find the support they need. An AARP report found: ?? Family caregivers of veterans spend $11,500 of their personal income on out-of-pocket costs related to caregiving each year. ?? 43% of caregivers experienced at least one financial setback such as having to take on more debt or dip into personal savings. ?????? The VA offers support to caregivers of veterans enrolled in VA healthcare, but only 34% of veterans have used their VA earned benefits.
