Air & Space Forces Association Heritage Gallery Planned for Former National Headquarters site Taicoon Property Partners proudly announces its plan to establish the AFA Heritage Gallery as part of their design concept for 1501 Langston Blvd. the former national headquarters of the Air & Space Forces Association (AFA). ? "The AFA Heritage Gallery represents a significant endeavor to honor the legacy of our Air and Space Forces," said Hai Chien Wang, CEO and Co-Founder of Taicoon Property Partners. "We are proud to preserve this historic site and transform it into a memorial and museum gallery that will serve as a testament to the dedication and sacrifice of our Airmen, Guardians, and their families." ? Plans for the gallery include exhibitions and displays that celebrate the rich heritage of the U.S. Air and Space Forces. The space will also be available for public events, fostering community engagement and education about the contributions of the Air Force community to national defense. ? The gallery space is being designed to incorporate the building’s existing Doolittle Legacy Wall that honors General Doolittle and the significance of the Doolittle Raid.?The wall was dedicated on October 25, 2018 in a ceremony at the building. ? Doolittle’s raid changed the tide for US and it’s allies proving that no matter the odds against us, that the United States would not give up. Doolittle did what was considered impossible by removing equipment from the B-25 bomber to lighten it’s load and training his team of expert pilots?to take off in 450 feet instead of the usual 1,200 feet to prepare for a sneak attack on Japan.
