These aspiring young engineers spent the day learning from our team, gaining hands-on experience, and exploring what a career in engineering looks like. One of the highlights? The Spaghetti Tower Challenge! ????? A fun yet insightful way to demonstrate structural engineering principles, teamwork, and problem-solving—all essential skills in the field. ?? Celebrating John Frey’s Incredible Career and Retirement ?? After an extraordinary 41-year career in the engineering and chemical process industries—including 15 remarkable years at TAI—we bid a heartfelt farewell to John Frey, PE, Associate, Director of Process Engineering, as he steps into a well-deserved retirement. John’s contributions to TAI have been immeasurable. Leading our Process Engineering Division, John oversaw a talented team of over 35 engineers, project managers, and designers, delivering high-quality outcomes for clients across industries like chemicals, petrochemicals, power and utilities, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals. His leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on TAI and our clients. From managing significant projects with Froneri-Dreyers, ESNG, WR Grace, Constellation, Lonza, and Sherwin-Williams, to his focus on safety, health, and environmental compliance, John’s impact on TAI’s success is truly unparalleled. Prior to joining TAI, John’s illustrious career spanned 26 years at SASOL North America, where he led transformative projects, including a $100 million modernization initiative. His work not only delivered technical excellence but also inspired countless colleagues and teams. John, as you embark on this new chapter, we thank you for your dedication, mentorship, and the legacy you’ve built at TAI. We will miss your leadership and wisdom but are excited for you to enjoy retirement to the fullest—filled with relaxation, adventure, and time with loved ones.
