We moving closer toward our goal of rescuing 25 MILLION pounds of nutritious, fresh food in 2024 in honor of our 25th Anniversary. Our fleet of refrigerated trucks rescued 1,663,228 pounds of food in August. Add that to the 162,637 pounds volunteers collected through the Table to Table I-Rescue App, powered by Food Rescue Hero, in August and we've rescued 15,163,491 pounds of food in 2024! For 25 years, Table to Table has partnered with hundreds of community organizations, including food pantries, food banks, shelters, daycare and after school programs, and senior centers serving individuals daily meals with the nutritious food we rescue, bridging the gap of food insecurity for our hungry neighbors and keeping food out of landfills.
