There are many unknowns about experiences with perimenopause and T1D, but one thing is certain: the hormone changes that come with perimenopause can wreak havoc on glucose levels. In a recent study of T1D Exchange Registry participants in perimenopause or menopause, we asked about the advice or knowledge they wish they’d had themselves before entering this transitional time of life. See some of what we’re learning about real experiences in perimenopause and be a part of the conversation! Read their experiences: https://t1dx.co/4bvLM3t
