Has the wireless infrastructure market finally bottomed out?????????? ? Our latest report says yes—and the numbers back it up!????? ? ???4Q24 & FY24 highlights: ??Market up 27% QoQ, signaling the turnaround we called a year ago.? ??5G (RAN & core), open RAN, and EPC are the growth drivers.? ??Nokia gained share at the expense of Huawei & Ericsson?in the?quarter?but lost a few percentage points in the full year, during which the overall vendor ranking did not change.??? ? But it’s not all smooth sailing—2024 saw a 14% YoY decline in total market sales, weighed down by steep drops in 4G LTE RAN. Even with 344 live 5G networks,?growth?remains elusive. Looking ahead:? ???5G-Advanced & open RAN will be key in 2025.? ???Expect 2% market growth this year before long-term declines set in.? ???And yes, we’re already eyeing something labeled 6G in 2028—déjà vu, anyone?
