Re-inventing voice communication for low-bandwidth networks, live at MWC Barcelona & 4YFN. At Deutsche Telekom Innovation Labs at CBG, in cooperation with our partners from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, we are advancing communication technologies for low-bandwidth environments. Our joint research has resulted in Vox Machina – an AI-based approach that converts voice into text and to voice again. This innovative idea enables efficient communication in constrained environments such as satellite networks, ensuring seamless connectivity where traditional infrastructure is limited. By integrating AI with telecommunications, Vox Machina optimizes bandwidth usage, enhances network efficiency, and expands communication capabilities for key applications. At MWC & 4YFN, our collaborative solution will be presented alongside eight hubraum startups, who are also showcasing technologies at the forefront of network innovation and beyond.
