The AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter Pintail Event was an absolute BLAST! Bill Stimely, Steve Predenkoski, Jarret Michael, and Tracey Michael, PMP had an amazing time representing System Architects Group for the friendly competition. They all did really well, but more importantly, they enjoyed themselves while raising money for STEM education. We were proud to sponsor this event!

Yesterday, the AFCEA CMD Girls Who Code club from Old Mill Middle School South attended their first field trip! RealmOne hosted the students in the morning. The group learned about the different paths each presenter took to earn their current position in the company. Megan Mercer then taught the students about knowledge graphs and led a hands-on activity that allowed each group to create a knowledge graph...and earn prizes! Many thanks to Megan, Amy Sanker, Amy Kramer, and Michelle Drzewiecki for working with the students and sharing their stories! In the afternoon, the OMMS students headed to Clarity Business Solutions, Inc to learn about MongoDB vector searches. Caleb Knox and Goldie Lesser did an amazing job presenting and engaging the group. Of course, there were more prizes! Many thanks to System Architects Group for providing lunch, as well as Elizabeth Phillips, Timothy Greenier, Janelle Pasch, PMP, Brittainy White, Monte Blakely, CISSP, James M., and Tracey Michael, PMP for their help organizing the field trip. We had an absolute blast at the AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter Emerging Leaders' Bull & Oyster Roast! Lots of laughs, good food, games, and prizes. Kathryn Reitenbach and all the volunteers did an amazing job! Many thanks to Sarah Barker whose generous bid won the SAgrp "Day in St. Michaels" basket. Dan Catrambone proved to be a worthy Quick Draw opponent for Jarret Michael - even if he did laugh more than he hit!
