Yesterday, a few of us from our Hamilton, NJ office had the opportunity to visit the Lawrence High School STEM Club and talk about the world of engineering. We each shared our individual paths that led us to Syska Hennessy Group and the Architectural Contracting Engineering field. We discussed the various engineering disciplines, the importance of collaboration and coordination with other consultants and contractors, and how critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential in this field. It was great to see their enthusiasm and curiosity about how engineering shapes our world. Moments like these remind us of the importance of mentoring and encouraging the next generation to pursue careers in engineering.
