The 2024-25 Louise and Bernard Palitz Art Scholar Award, a highly selective award that supports graduate students studying Art History and/ or Museum Studies, was recently given to Coral Silver, a second year Art History graduate student. Silver’s research often revolves around sculpture across several periods and locations, including the Ancient Mediterranean, the European Middle Ages and the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries in Europe and the United States. As the Palitz Art Scholar, Silver will study two works by Italian artist Ferdinando Vichi in the museum collection as a part of their capstone research project. Congrats Coral!
