A huge Thank You to Wegmans Food Markets for the gift card donation! I was able to purchase all of the paper products for our Challenger Champions Day event this Saturday! We have a record number of players and families RSVP’s for this super fun day at Carrier Park! We never charge players or families to play so it takes community support from companies like Wegmans to allow us to continue each year! #ittakesavillage #yesyoucanplay #GoTheDistance

We’re thrilled to share a feature from The Wall Street Journal on our major benefactor, Robert Morris. As highlighted in the article, Robert recently donated $1 million to expand our baseball complex dedicated to children with special needs right here in Syracuse, N.Y., where he grew up. The Syracuse Challengers and Carrier Park are beyond grateful for Robert's incredible support in championing our efforts to build the Superfield of Dreams. His generosity is making a lasting impact on our community, and we can’t wait to see the joy this project will bring to so many deserving players and their families. Mark your calendars for the groundbreaking ceremony on September 14th – a day we’ve all been looking forward to! #SyracuseChallengers #SuperfieldOfDreams #ThankYouRobertMorris #CommunitySupport #SpecialNeedsBaseball

We are truly grateful to the members of the DeWitt Town Board for unanimously voting to realize the dream of Carrier Park. This is a significant victory not only for the players of Syracuse Challenger Baseball but for the entire Central New York community. This state-of-the-art sports complex, designed for every ability, represents a giant step forward for inclusivity. Differently-abled players will no longer be segregated from their peers; typical players will have the chance to witness the extraordinary abilities of those with different abilities. Carrier Park ensures that everyone can play by creating a space that accommodates every level of play. Last night was a monumental win for all of us. Thank you to everyone who has supported this dream, and to the members of the DeWitt Town Board for having the vision and courage to make it a reality. #yesyoucanplay #inclusivesports #gothedistance Dom Cambareri ??Dee Perkins Jennifer Savastino
