Earlier this month our Global Product Manager Emilio Pirraglia, PhD had the chance to join the harvest of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes in the heart of Abruzzo in Italy.? This year, the effects of climate change were strongly felt, with a lack of rainfall leading to a reduction in yields. Despite these challenges, the passion of local farmers remains strong even during though times. Providing farmers with science-based solutions that help overcome the most pressing challenges is crucial, and biologicals play a pivotal role in helping growers manage pests and disease, address abiotic stress, and enhance soil health.?

Our lineup at the Biostimulants World Congress in Miami! Marco Rosso joined the panel discussion on regenerative agriculture and the key role of biostimulants in regenerative farming systems, and it was announced the Farmer’s Award Winner! Our perspective is outlined in the article featured on Euractiv underscoring the urgent need for a streamlined regulatory framework that would enhance EU farmers' access to biocontrol products. Nearly two decades after the REBECA project highlighted the challenges of limited market presence for biocontrol solutions, farmers still face lengthy approval processes that hinder their ability to adopt sustainable practices. As part of the Biocontrol Coalition, we believe that updated regulations can significantly support both environmental goals and farm productivity.
