Not quite Black Friday, but here's a video that ties in to the festivities! This one was intentionally a lot simpler to shoot and edit after how involved the Halloween video was. We shot it in the parking lot on the first truly cold day in Kansas City. While this helped make it feel like Black Friday, it also made us move quickly. What does a PBR can, a KC heart, and Apple repairs have in common? One incredibly talented Synetic team member: Ben Walters. As an Apple Technician, Ben is a critical part of Synetic’s success, but his talents extend far beyond the workplace. Ben is an exceptional artist, recently earning the honor of designing one of the hearts featured in Kansas City’s Parade of Hearts. His design, inspired by the city’s iconic trolley, beautifully weaves together Kansas City’s history and future. Ben dedicated his free time to painting the heart, which was displayed at Tiki Taco before being auctioned off for charity. But that’s not all. Ben’s artistic prowess caught national attention in 2022 when he was selected as one of only ten winners in PBR’s annual artwork contest. His stunning design graced PBR cans in celebration of the contest's 10th anniversary, earning him a spot on store shelves and a billboard above Kansas City’s own Ponak’s Mexican Kitchen. We're not the only ones who recognized Ben's talent, as he won the AIGA KC Award for Photography. From crafting technical solutions to creating art that inspires, Ben brings creativity, passion, and excellence to everything he does. We’re proud to have him on the Synetic team!
