I'm getting ready to go offline for the next 24 hours, but before I do I want to share this funding opportunity with you all. Last week, I shared what funding was approved through the 2024 Appropriations Bill. Over the coming weeks and months, we’re going to see new opportunities become available as agencies now have their full budgets and can distribute funds that were previously on hold or limited. Before the bill was finalized, agencies were operating under temporary budgets and planned cautiously, often basing grant cycles on funding from the previous year. Now that the appropriations process is complete, additional funding is being released, opening the door for new programs, expanded opportunities, and more support for communities. If you’ve been waiting for certain grants to open, keep an eye out – because more opportunities are on the way! I'll continue to share updates as they become available. The world of fundraising is ever-evolving and to ensure that we are consistently leveraging the resources available to tell our story, my team continues to look for new opportunities to grow our skillsets and knowledge base.
