Hey everyone! It seems like these Zoom scams and other new scam tricks are becoming very popular. Please watch out, and do not fall for these malicious scammers. You may have received messages from “reporters”, or some anonymous new “VC”, or an attractive offer from a “serious big OTC buyer”, etc. That’s how it works: 1. They set up a call with you. 2. They lure you into Zoom. 3. They steal your funds via remote access to your computer during the call, or steal your socials with 2FA notifications during your screen sharing. In Zoom when you join the host can ask for access to remote control your computer. When you are on a call with them, they take over and steal your info and funds. Another method the scammers use is to ask you to present them with your product by sharing your screen. Then, they are trying to log into your account and wait for the notification with a 2FA to appear on your screen, and they hijack your social accounts and identity. 1. ALWAYS use cold wallets, either Trezor (best!) or Ledger. 2. ALWAYS set up a passphrase for your cold wallet (the extra wildcard word only you know that is added you the seed phrase!). 4. Prefer using MULISIG WALLET whenever possible, and it is a MUST for wallets that manage treasuries and other large token amounts. 5. NEVER agree to join any Zoom call. Do not believe any excuse they are using to try and lure you into it. Prefer the use of Google Meet at all times. 6. RESEARCH the identity of the VC, investor, or reporter. No respected and serious entity should be almost anonymous online! Real people have real faces - if they are missing from their websites - go away. If it feels like a scam - IT IS a scam. 7. If the meeting invitation does not come from an official mail of the organization they claim to be and they are using some generic address - IT IS A SCAM! And even if they are using some non-generic address, check the website behind it as mentioned in step 6. 8. If you joined the call and their camera are off and they make up excuses why they cannot opened their cameras - IT IS A SCAM. No one joins a call to interview you or do business with you with fund transfers involved and keeps their cameras off(!). If they are doing it - 99.99% it is a scam. Don’t risk it for the 0.01% it may not be. Good luck and PLEASE stay safe!

Meta Will End Support for NFTs on Instagram, Facebook Meta is shutting down NFT integrations on Instagram and Meta Facebook, marking the end of its short-lived experiment in digital collectibles.
