SynaVoice is offering FREE resume writing/consulting services to: 1) Federal workers who have been laid off in 2025, and 2) Contractors who have lost their jobs in 2025 because of downsizing in the Federal Government.
We are not a placement service, and we are not an app.?We are a team of professionals who work in commercial, government, non-profit, and academic institutions and have written and reviewed resumes for decades. And, because we are human, (not AI or bots), we offer one-on-one consultation with your editor.?We will help you craft your resume and cover note so you can tell your story in a compelling way.
INTRODUCING THE DMV 1000 CHALLENGE!
We’ve seen lots of people on LinkedIn making offers of needed services and we love the spirit and the intent. We want to up the ante and engage the community to help 1,000 people!
But, we can’t do it alone. Our goal is to support 1,000 displaced workers in the District/Maryland/Virginia (DMV), and to do that – we need help from our network.?We are looking for VOLUNTEERS to review resumes, give back to the government contracting community, and be a part of something positive. You don’t have to work in government or government contracting to become involved – and you don’t have to live in the DMV either to join us.
We are aware that it takes a lot more than a resume to get a job. We are hoping to build a community of resources for displaced workers that would provide coaching, career counseling, headshots, interview prep, job placement, and space to work - if needed. The list goes on and could even include wardrobe assistance as many of us have been working in sweatpants for the past few years. There's a lot we can do to recreate our vibrant, thriving community. We are starting with resumes and hope you will join us.
