The RERC on AAC at Penn State University is a collaborative center dedicated to advancing knowledge and creating innovative engineering solutions in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Its research and development program focuses on effective technology transfer and employs a comprehensive dissemination plan to enhance outcomes for children and adults with developmental and acquired disabilities throughout their lives. The center is supported by a grant from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR grant number 90REGE0014).
