To steal from Ole E Browning… Oh RWA.world (the single best event I’ve attended in our space in 7 years), how I DO love thee. Let me count the ways: -the curated speakers and invite-only attendee list were perfect -the tactical, straight to business speaker talks provided maximum value in minimum time. - I met and formed real friendships that will last far past this event with attendees and speakers alike, oddly enough days after meeting, we would only then realize that our respective businesses had serious collaboration potential. Honestly I’d list them but it’s be too many to be practical. -The arrangement of the talks was meticulously planned, so that speaker’s sessions and the post-talk breakout sessions had soft beginnings and endings [think 30min periods of physical and mental melding, as one crowd shuffles out and the other in]. -Why was this so cool? All different types of companies, many typically siloed or hailing from separately focused verticals in the RWA value chain and with less organic paths of least resistance leading to collaboration so using this transition time as a forcing function for folks to physically run into one another and then sprout connections, which then grew organically in the aforementioned curated garden that was this event. -There was a deliberate, beautifully executed, and constant focus on breakouts for networking. -The overall attitude of everyone wanting to do business with each other. - I would have paid $10,000 to attend this event and I’d still be getting a deal. Thanks to all the attendees and speakers who made this so special. A MAJOR TIP OF THE HAT to Tyler Sherwin, Ray Buckton, and Travis John from RWA.Day and Scott Bourke Jr. for just being an RWA OG boss and the team at Block Fuel for documenting it all. *nobody paid me or gave me any incentive to write this, I am just that stoked about this experience and wanted to share my heartfelt appreciation.?
