Last week, our People & Culture team hosted a fun and informative Lunch & Learn session on DISC! At Swyftx, building a high-performance culture is a key strategic focus, and DISC is a powerful tool in this journey. For those unfamiliar, DISC is a personality assessment that helps people understand their own communication style as well as those of others. It’s designed to enhance teamwork by identifying different behavioural styles, making it easier for people to connect, collaborate, and communicate effectively. With every team member now having completed their DISC profile, the People & Culture team will be running deep-dive sessions across departments in the coming weeks. These sessions will help our teams gain a deeper understanding of each other’s working styles, paving the way for smoother collaboration and stronger connections. We take scam prevention very seriously at Swyftx so we're extremely proud to receive Finder's prestigious Digital Assets & Web 3 Innovation award for our groundbreaking work in this area. ???? Swyftx launched a global first pilot to reward customers for learning about scam tactics and then enabling two factor authentication on their accounts. We will be releasing the full pilot results soon so watch this space.??? This past weekend, we proudly sponsored our first music festival —the iconic Big Pineapple Festival in sunny Queensland.?? Our team was on-site, handing out bucket hats and sunscreen as part of our "Sun Safe, Trade Safe" initiative, which perfectly complemented the 33+ degree heat the festival-goers experienced. ?????? The day wrapped up with two of our team members joining Olympian Steven Bradbury OAM on the main stage to announce our $5k Bitcoin Giveaway, which had been running throughout the event. This event was a fantastic chance to introduce our brand in a vibrant new setting, support the local arts, and connect with attendees while promoting the importance of choosing an exchange that is safe as well as staying sun safe in the harsh QLD heat. Last week, we hosted an assessment centre at Swyftx for graduate candidates across software engineering, security, and fincrime, and we were absolutely blown away by their talent and passion. If this is any indication of the next generation of tech superstars, the future is bright! ?? Our team really embraced the grads, creating a welcoming and energetic atmosphere and it was great to see so many animated discussions happening throughout the day, especially over lunch.
