County Executive Sara Innamorato today announced that Allegheny County Economic Development (ACED) is now accepting applications for the second round of Mon Valley Public Health Fund grants. Established through the U.S. Steel settlement after the 2018 Christmas Eve fire at the Clairton Coke Works, this fund supports public health projects focused on air quality and community well-being in the Mon Valley. This next phase was shaped by robust community feedback during recent engagement sessions, ensuring that future investments reflect the needs and voices of those most impacted.
