?? Bright Idea: It's not always about a press conference! We encourage you to hold a Media Open House the next time you have new equipment to showcase, or a new team to introduce to your community. Media relations is about telling positive stories, not just reaction when a crisis occurs. A Media Open House allows you to invite reporters to meet in a setting that is less formal and encourages relationship-building. ? Set up stations for journalists to rotate through. ? Make sure your employees have simple, easy-to-recall talking points. ? Get interactive - allow reporters to get involved and see the full picture. #MediaRelations #HaveTrainingWillTravel #Relationships

Proud of our Instructor Matthew Longshore! In addition to being knowledgeable and talented in his profession, he’s also a kind and caring human being. ??Keep being a great supporter of Special Olympics athletes!
Over the past few days, I had the incredible privilege of attending the 2024 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics International Conference. I’ve recently dedicated more time to volunteering with Special Olympics, and this conference reignited my passion for their mission. It was inspiring to hear so many people share their “why” and learn how we, as members of law enforcement from around the world, can continue championing these remarkable athletes and their goals. I’m honored to be part of the Special Olympics Colorado team and look forward to what we can achieve together in the future.
