Switch++

The Switch++ software is an advanced modular software package designed to provide a variety of Layer 2 features collection of silicon chipsets. Switch++ is both a complete L2 switch and a switch SDK provide the tools and resources needed to create modify and update a L2 switch. The core architecture is based is a clean Object Oriented implementation to allow adaptations and feature modification without touching the core. The system is built over multiple abstraction layers in support of arbitrary hardware platform and OS environments. Switch++ focuses on simplicity and intuitive software architecture and design. It is intended for ease of maintenance. There are clear boundaries between the different layers, but with consistent state machine and mirrored objects and behaviors between the control layer and the Ethernet switch layer.
