Today, the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and the Republic of Kosova was signed on the margins of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, in a ceremony hosted by Switzerland. The EFTA–Kosova FTA covers trade in goods, technical barriers to trade, and sanitary and phytosanitary measures, trade in services, intellectual property rights, trade facilitation, trade remedies, competition, trade and sustainable development, and legal and horizontal provisions. This agreement also reinforces shared values of sustainable development and innovation and is a testimony to their economic partnership.
