An incredible $500,000 was raised in one evening at the Rise Alliance for Children Gala! We owe a heartfelt thanks to the SwingSearch team, and our dear friends and partners who joined us and gave so generously. Dierks, Logan Crane Britt, Valerie Tengco, PharmD, Matt Miesnieks, wilson kriegel, Misha Rubin, and of course Mandy Edmund who serves on the Board.) In the past year, Rise Alliance for Children has expanded its reach, providing much needed resources to children in both Palestine and Israel, and continuing its vital work in Ukraine, all while continuing its work in Haiti, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Bulgaria, and the Bronx. ?? Through its widely studied play-based curriculum, Rise helps kids heal from trauma in some of the most conflict-affected places in the world. ???? One of the most moving moments of the evening was when Maya Samadani, representing Palestine, and susan neisloss, representing Israel, took the stage together, delivering a heartfelt speech on how we can all unite around the cause of helping children.
