  • ???? Reflecting on Last Weekend's Mardi Gras Memories! ???? What a fantastic week celebrating Mardi Gras with our amazing team! ?? We are thrilled that our employees brought their A-game to the Krewe of Gemini and Krewe of Highland parades. A huge shoutout to Stefan Urian, our Risk & Reliability Manager, and John McCorkle, our Safety & Health Principal and Captain of Krewe of Demeter, and Distribution System Supervisor Cedric Thomas, who all showcased their festive spirit during Krewe of Gemini parade! ?? Their participation truly added to the vibrant atmosphere. We also want to highlight Tabetha Jackson, our Distribution System Supervisor, who had a blast riding not only in the Krewe of Gemini parade but also aboard the Hollywood float in Krewe of Highland Parade?? She brought lots of smiles to faces all across Shreveport! Joe Wood, our Shreveport Manager of Distribution System, pulled the King Cake Baby float, which included Michael Corbin, our External Affairs Manager, who tossed a host of specialty throws, including king cake beads, patissier oven mitts, and hot pads! ???? • Early Tuesday, powerful storms swept through parts of Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas, bringing damaging winds that caused significant disruptions across our service territory. At the height of the storm, we reported approximately 29,000 outages across our three-state region. The most extensive damage was reported in Texas, particularly in the Marshall and Longview areas, as well as in Louisiana, where the hardest-hit locations included Shreveport and Hornbeck. Our dedicated team is committed to restoring power safely and efficiently. Crews are now assessing damage to identify where repairs are needed.
